Lifeboat Ethics- Jackson

I would kick out the random 49 other people in the boat, so that I could be more selective with who I choose. I would then choose the 57 best girls in the water. I would rate them based on looks, physical ability, and brains. After finding the best 57 girls I would chose 2 other men. These men would be picked on the same principles so that future breeding could be selective. After the 60 people were set, we would start breeding to improve future generations. The next several years would be filled with breeding perfect people.
I would tell the people who remained in the water that they simply were not good enough to be in the boat and that I was very sorry but they were going to have to die.

Even though your intentions are good by saving as many people as you could. I think that the physical beauty of a person is only one part of a person and how " good enough" they are to be on the boat. It's a little selfish you pick the people you think are beautiful.

Jackson man I can understand wanting to be in a boat with 57 good looking girls when it comes to repopulating, but that's not what's going on. The world is not at an end you are simply picking the lives you would save to take back to society. Those 57 girls might be good looking strippers who are working for cash to pay for college. They would meet your requirements, but do they deserve to live over the other people. What about little Timmy who just got into Yale, but isn't the best looking guy? Or little Susie who came up with the cure for cancer, but has a hunch back? They would bring much more to society then the legion of goal oriented strippers. If you were trying to repopulate then your plan might work, but in this case it doesn't.
